SNOWDON – Raising money for a local Primary School

11 members of the Lenstec Optical team decided to do their bit and raise some money for the St James Primary School – a local school in Caerphilly.

Snowdon is the highest mountain in Wales and the 10 mile hike to the summit took around 6 hours to complete. This has now whetted their appetite to look for other ideas to help raise money for good causes in the Lenstec area.

“It was a wonderful weekend.” says Matthew Castle, Lenstec Optical’s General Manager “A great team building exercise as well as being a memorable experience,” he continues “St James’ were delighted with the £380 donation towards their new disabled bus, and we are already looking forward to the next challenge.”

The climb also gave the team an opportunity to test their NEW range of JULBO ultra-high-performance eyewear solutions – who’s ultra-light, unbreakable optical quality lenses cover challenging light conditions. Julbo’s heritage comes from climbing in extreme conditions and their Sun Advanced Solutions can now be seen at www.lenstecopticalgroup.com where you can find the perfect sunglasses for your prescription, or non-prescription sunglasses, for all sports or streetwear.
